Is it Crazy to Think about Starting a Business during this Time of Uncertainty?
The answer is a resounding ‘no.’ For months I’ve been checking in on my placements in franchises over the years. It’s been a huge undertaking, but I’ve been steady and committed.
Overwhelmingly, I’ve heard my placements say that it hasn’t been an easy time and they’ve had to get creative, but that their eyes have been on the opportunity. It can come in a variety of scenarios, whether it’s considering new options with real estate, tapping into a new customer base, revisiting old referrals, buying up neighboring franchises, or even expanding streams of revenue. Do you have an eye for opportunity?
One thing I’ve seen for certain are industries that have been ‘recession-resilient’ in the past, also be ‘coronavirus-resilient.’ It’s been fascinating and I’d love to discuss.
Also now more than ever, we’ve come to realize what’s important to us. We’re getting back to the basics of what truly defines quality time with our family, our friends, and ourselves.
